Sermon Series
Week 1: The First Step
Faith often begins before we have all the answers. In this opening message, we explore how Abraham trusted God enough to take the first step into the unknown. Like Abraham, we’re invited to begin our faith journey with simple obedience—trusting God even when the destination isn’t clear. You don’t need to see the full picture to follow where God leads.
Week 2: Faith That Follows
True faith doesn’t stay still—it follows. This week, we look at the moment Jesus called His first disciples, who immediately left their nets to follow Him. Their response reminds us that real faith often requires letting go of what’s familiar. When we follow Jesus, we may have to leave something behind—but what we gain is far greater.
Week 3: When Faith Feels Risky
Sometimes faith means stepping into the unknown, just like Peter did when he walked on water. This week, we explore how fear can overwhelm us when we focus on the waves instead of Jesus. Faith may feel risky, but when we keep our eyes on Christ, we discover He is already there, reaching out with strength and peace.
Week 4: Faith Under Pressure
Faith doesn’t guarantee that we’ll avoid hardship—but it does promise that we won’t face it alone. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego stood firm in the face of a fiery trial, confident that God could save them—but committed to Him even if He didn’t. This message challenges us to remain faithful in the pressure-filled areas of our own lives.
Week 5: Faith That Waits
Waiting is one of the hardest parts of faith. This week, we reflect on Abraham’s long wait for God’s promise and how he continued to believe even when it seemed impossible. Faith means trusting God’s timing, even when we’re tempted to take control. Waiting doesn’t mean nothing is happening—God is always at work.
Week 6: Try Faith Again
Even when we fail, God doesn’t give up on us. In the final week of the series, we look at Peter’s restoration after denying Jesus. Jesus meets Peter with grace and reaffirms his calling, reminding us that failure isn’t the end of our story. No matter where you’ve been, God invites you to get back up—and try faith again.
Children
Kids in Kindergarten through 5th grade won’t want to miss what’s happening in our Children’s Ministry! Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m. are packed with exciting lessons, fun monthly themes, and memory verses that stick. And Wednesdays? They’re a blast! From 6:00–8:00 p.m., kids can run, play, laugh, and learn all about Jesus in a high-energy, midweek experience designed just for them. Plus, we offer a special class just for 3rd graders who receive their very first Bible—it’s a fun and interactive way to help them explore, understand, and confidently use God’s Word as they grow in their faith!
Re | engage
We are excited to start a new ministry for married couples called Re | engage! This is a discipleship-based enrichment for every marriage – the healthy, the struggling, and the broken. This ministry draws married couples to the church, giving them a safe place to move toward oneness through small groups, teaching, and stories of hope.
Devotional
Linda O’Donnell, our Director of Discipleship, has thoughtfully crafted a series of short devotionals designed to deepen your reflection and engagement with our current sermon series. These devotionals offer meaningful insights and practical applications that complement the weekly messages, helping you to grow in faith and connect Scripture to everyday life in a personal and impactful way. Whether you’re new to discipleship or looking to enrich your spiritual journey, each devotional provides a valuable resource for ongoing inspiration and encouragement.
