Youth Ministry

At Faith Methodist Church, a Global Methodist Church in Richmond, Texas, we believe that the teenage years are a crucial time of growth, discovery, and spiritual development. Our Youth Ministry is designed to provide a safe, welcoming, and inspiring space for students to connect, learn, and grow in their faith journey.

Our Mission

As they are given the tools to grow, they will be equipped to become disciples of Jesus Christ.

We invite all middle school and high school students in Richmond, Texas, and the surrounding areas to come and experience the warmth of our Youth Ministry at Faith Methodist Church. No matter where you are on your faith journey, there’s a place for you here. We can’t wait to welcome you into our community and walk alongside you as you grow in faith, character, and purpose.

What To Expect

MIDWEEK - WEDNESDAYS

During the school year on Wednesday nights, mid high (6th-8th grade) and high school (9th-12th grade) students are invited to join us for Snack Supper at 6PM followed by Bible study at 7PM. This is a time where students come together for age-appropriate worship, teaching, small groups, and other fun activities.

Staring in January 2025, for Mid High, our students will be hearing from our Mid High Director, Meagan Miller, twice a month in a separate worship and message time! For High School, we will be splitting into gender-specific small groups to foster discussions and help us go deeper together! We are really excited for these changes, as well as a few more we have in the works, so make sure you don’t miss a week!

Snack supper is served each week. Cost of the meal is $5 per person. Cash and checks are received each Wednesday night. If you would like to pay for the semester, please click here. The total cost is $75 (which is 15 weeks multiplied by $5 per meal.) If you need to speak with us about the cost of the program, feel free to email us.

OUTREACH

We believe in making a positive difference in our community and beyond. Through various outreach projects and service opportunities, you’ll have the chance to put your faith into action and make a meaningful impact on the world around you.

SUMMER CAMP

Rise Up is the summer camp ministry of the Trinity Conference GMC and exists to share Christ with the next generation, deepen their relationship with Him, and help them hear His calling for their lives. Expect Spirit-filled worship, Christ-centered teaching, deepening friendships, and loads of fun activities in the beautiful setting of Lakeview Methodist Conference Center outside Palestine, Texas! $25 Non-refundable deposit. Please ONLY pay the deposit upon registration! $425 total for every camper due by May 9th.

Children’s: Going into 3rd – going into 5th
Mid-High: Going into 6th – going into 8th
Senior High: Going into 9th – completed 12th

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Students are invited to participate in Sunday school at 10AM for biblical teaching and age-appropriate discussion. Classrooms are located on the second floor above the café area.
