Christmas - Faith Methodist Church

Christmas at Faith

Advent is meant to be a season of joy and anticipation, yet for many it feels draining and full of obligation. Maybe that’s because we forget that Jesus came into a weary, broken world—just like ours. The true hope of Advent is that He still comes near to weary people today. If that sounds like you, this sermon series is for you.

Come to Faith and find ways to grow your faith, lead your family, and connect with the grace of Jesus.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him,
so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:13

Sermon Series

Week 1: Hope in the Darkness

Even in the darkest seasons, God is working. Hope is not wishful thinking – it’s the confident expectation that God keeps His promises. Scripture: Isaiah 9:2-7

Week 2: Peace in the Conflict

God’s peace isn’t the absence of trouble – it’s His presence in the midst of it. Scripture: Luke 1:26-38

Week 3: Joy in the Song

Joy is possible even before the promise is fulfilled. Joy is rooted in God’s faithfulness, not our circumstances. Scripture: Luke 1:39-56

Week 4: Love Comes Near

The God of love didn’t stay distant – He moved into the neighborhood. Christ’s coming is love made tangible. Scripture: John 1:1-14

Christmas: A Silent Revolution

God has kept His promise. The Savior is born – and His arrival changes everything. Scripture: Luke 2:1-20

Week 5: Guiding Light

The birth of Jesus is not only good news for Israel but for the whole world. Christ came for all nations, all people, and all generations. Scripture: Matthew 2:1-12
