We are blessed at Faith Methodist Church with dedicated pastors and staff. From our numerous weekly programs and services, to our big seasonal events, our staff works hard to lead our church to fulfill our mission of connecting people with the grace of Jesus. As a thank you for their hard efforts this year, we as a Church would like to present a gift to our pastors and staff by providing a Christmas bonus. Would you prayerfully consider a contribution toward the Staff Gift Fund?
We ask that gifts be sent by December 8 to allow us to distribute them during the holidays. Please make your check payable to the church and mark the memo area with “Staff Gift Fund” or you may give online through our giving form.

It has been a year of new beginnings and I’m super grateful for the new season.
What is your favorite thing about working at Faith Methodist Church?
I love how welcoming everyone has been. I found an incredible group of people both at staff and in the congregation. It’s such a joy to serve them and do life with them.
What is your favorite Thanksgiving food/recipe?
I love fried turkey with mashed potatoes and a few delicious rolls… and apple or pumpkin pie for dessert!
What do you like to do in your free time?
I love going to the movies or enjoying a nice walk in a beautiful park or trail.

Good health and vacationing.

I love the staff and being able to make hospital calls.

Pumpkin pie with whipped cream.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Read and play games on my phone.
What are you most thankful for this year?
I was able to go to Honduras to see where my daughter lives and experience why she felt called to serve there.

I love my community at Faith. It is my family.

I love stuffing…BREAD STUFFING!

Spend time with family and friends.
What are you most thankful for this year?
I am thankful for my faith and my family. I am grateful for the opportunity to see my grandchildren grow in their faith.
What is your favorite thing about working at Faith Methodist Church?
Some of my favorite things about working at Faith are the children and families of Faith. The children bring me so much joy watching them grow and learning worship. I am fueled by the smiles and excitement when they arrive each week. Their parents love, trust, and support for children’s ministry make what we do possible. I am so grateful to the church members that jump in to support children’s ministry in a multitude of ways even when their own children have outgrown children’s ministry.
What is your favorite Thanksgiving food/recipe?
My favorite Thanksgiving food is my mother’s stuffing.
What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and creating Zentangle art.
What are you most thankful for this year?
This year, I am most thankful for the relationships I’ve built and the friends I’ve made through Fiath.
What is your favorite thing about working at Faith Methodist Church?
My favorite thing about working at Faith is that I get to hang out with our youth every week, get to know them better, and lead them closer to Christ (hopefully).
What is your favorite Thanksgiving food/recipe?
My favorite Thanksgiving food is mac and cheese, mashed potatoes with gravy, and bacon green beans.
What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time I like to hang out with my friends and take naps.
What are you most thankful for this year?
Time with family no matter how short that time is.
What is your favorite thing about working at Faith Methodist Church?
Teaching the kids about God and having them remember stories they have learned.
What is your favorite Thanksgiving food/recipe?
My grandmother’s sweet potatoes.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Read books and hang out with family and friends and of course FOOTBALL!
What are you most thankful for this year?
Purchasing the building next door for expansion at Fort Bend Hope.
What is your favorite thing about working at Faith Methodist Church?
There is a culture of pulling together to get things done. The people of Faith are also very welcoming.

Dressing and gravy
What do you like to do in your free time?
I like to play video games, read, build LEGO, and hang out with my family.
What are you most thankful for this year?
My family, my health, and celebrating 40 trips around the sun!

I love the love and fellowship among the members.

Libby’s Pumpkin Pie (recipe on the can, no substitutions or additions)… and lots of cool whip!

Take naps and go to Hobby Lobby.

I am most thankful for family and friends.
What is your favorite thing about working at Faith Methodist Church?
I enjoy working with the choir and the wonderful staff at Faith. I love playing the piano and accompanying the choir and congregation as we sing praises to our Heavenly Father.

In no particular order, my favorite Thanksgiving foods are: stuffing/dressing, cranberry sauce, cherry congealed salad, and pecan pie.
What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, doing needlepoint and cross stitch, reading, and watching baseball and football.
What are you most thankful for this year?
Good health despite just ticking over 72 years on the odometer.

Good musicians in the choir who show up every week.

Converse with other amateur radio operators in Morse Code.

I’m most thankful for my wife and kids, and for the opportunity to witness God’s hand at work in their lives as they grow in faith and love.
What is your favorite thing about working at Faith Methodist Church?
My favorite thing about working at Faith is being part of a community where my whole family can serve and grow together. Whether it’s being part of our men’s ministry, investing in marriages with my wife, helping with you, or serving at church events, I love seeing how God uses all of us to make a difference. I’m grateful to be part of what God is doing and to walk alongside people who are growing in faith and love.
